Peter Mallios
Peter Mallios joined Summit Commercial Real Estate in 2009 as Director of Retail Services. He worked at national broker Newmark Knight Frank prior to joining Summit. During his 38 years of experience Peter has specialized in Retail Sales and Leasing Services in the Washington DC metropolitan area. He has served buyers and sellers as well as landlords and tenants in over One Billion Dollars of transactions during his career.
Mr. Mallios offers leasing clients vast experience and knowledge including leasing current vacancies through long term planning to remerchandising tenant mixes, conceptual planning for new projects, evaluating tenant backgrounds, and advising owners on long term planning decisions. Tenant representation services include assisting single tenants with new locations, renewing existing leases, rolling out new concepts throughout the Washington market, and long term planning for expansion in the Metro area and beyond.
Mr. Mallios has sales experience ranging from selling all types of shopping centers throughout the Washington Metro area and other markets to free standing suburban buildings, commercial condominiums, and urban storefront buildings. He has sold buildings to developers, investors and users. Mr. Mallios has sold buildings from Florida to Philadelphia.
Mr. Mallios also has significant development experience. This includes various phases of redeveloping properties ranging from supervising minor upgrades through major renovations as well as new construction, both on a fee basis and as a principal. The ownership and development expertise provides valuable insight into the sales and leasing process which assists the clients in overcoming issues from a myriad of situations.
